Harsh lesson, but good, reliable gear costs good money. This all-new 24-70mm F2.8 lens from SIGMA delivers the performance and functionality that help pros succeed in news, nature, and many other fields of photography. It is sharp throughout the entire zoom range, even at f/2.8, and it produces beautiful images with natural-looking colors and textures. The SIGMA 2470mm F2.8 DG DN ensures compatibility with various types of the latest full-frame mirrorless camera bodies tailored for L-Mount and Sony. It would not surprise me at all to find the lens simply isn't that great at f/2.8 - which could be the cause of some images looking less than stellar. OS functionality and newly designed HSM for success on any shoot. Thanks to its ideal zoom range, the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art Lens for Sony E lens is an absolute all-rounder with E mount and made to cover full frame. The Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art Zoom Full Frame Compatible with Sony E-Mount Lens with LaCie Rug is an excellent lens for anyone looking for a high-quality, all-around zoom lens. The price you paid sounds low to me, but the older Sigma 24-70 was never as expensive as the Nikon, nor as good. Focus hunting is just a sign that AF does not manage to lock on to something, so it's not necessarily a lens problem at all. And maybe it is a bit of both, so while this might not solve your issue right away, it will help you avoid similar issues.ĪF can struggle in mid day all the same if there is no clear contrast available near the selected AF point or using the mode where the system selects which AF points to use. Before jumping to the conclusion that it is the lens, I'd try to understand the circumstances under which the AF struggles better, and "study" the images where the focus is off - to ensure it is not somehow related to AF settings, problems with (lack of) depth of field, and so on. Later, in the 1920s, they began expanding their marketing reach into Europe. In 1915 they went on to open a manufacturing plant in the Philippines. That exact moment was the creation of what would become one of the world’s most beloved soft drinks.īack then, Coke was the first to expand internationally. Once the syrup was made, he took it to a local pharmacy and mixed it with carbonated water. Pemberton created its original flavored syrup. The History Behind Two of the Most Famous Brands CokeĬoke got its start in the early 1800s when a pharmacist by the name of Dr. While these major conglomerates have other brands underneath them, the marketing rivalry stays at the top between the parent brands fighting to become the world’s favorite soft drink. The slogan used at the end of the commercial said, “the choice of a new generation”, ultimately introducing Pepsi as the soft drink for young audiences. Their first celebrity ad was in 1984 which included Michael Jackson dancing in the streets with a group of young kids. On the other hand, Pepsi is widely known for celebrity endorsements, and they don’t put as strong of an emphasis on sentimental value. The campaign was so successful, they expanded the number of names from 250 to 1000 by the end. This urged consumers to find bottles with names of loved ones to share. They launched the “Share a Coke” campaign that sold cans of Coke with the most common first names printed on the label. In general, Coke is known for promoting emotional attachment through its campaigns. Today, each brand has a strong and distinct presence thanks to individual marketing strategies that make them obviously different from one another. Then, in 1898, a rivalry that would span decades was born as soon as Pepsi hit the market. Coke was the first soda ever created back in 1886. There’s an age-old question we’ve all been asked: Pepsi or Coke? (This case is frequently encountered in The Netherlands.) The effectiveness of sound barriers and other measures is investigated in relation to the dispersion of pollution at scales typical of urban areas. We focus on a number of relevant basic geometries, including a major road adjacent to urbanization. From the numerical and experimental data we will distill low-order representations that describe the effect on the turbulent motions on the pollution dispersion. Our numerical results will be validated against experimental data, utilizing field measurements and detailed data acquired in laboratory scale models using state-of-the-art experimental methods, such as tomographic Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) and Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF), which comprises a significant part of the research. These simulations do not suffer from shortcomings found in models for Computational Fluid Dynamics codes (CFD, RANS). This is achieved in this proposal by utilizing modern simulation methods, such as Direct Numerical Simulations (DNS) and Large-Eddy Simulations (LES). Given that operational dispersion models need to be quantitatively accurate and reliable, it is of importance that these models are properly validated. Yet, these issues are not exclusive to the Dutch case, but they occur worldwide. A reliable model is needed for these cases to ensure the quality of life and fulfill the governmental responsibility to the public. This is why we choose this geometry as the principal focus of this proposal. Obtaining such a reliable method is of the highest importance to a densely populated country, such as The Netherlands, where the urban areas are in close proximity to heavy traffic routes and industrial areas. The development of adequate models of these challenging intermediate scales and surface topology will make it possible to determine the effects of measures and regulations for air quality control. Dispersion at larger scales (1-10 km) is currently reasonably well described by conventional plume models. The main challenge is to obtain a proper description of pollution at intermediate scales (10-1000 m), where the complexity of the flow is determined by typical urban scales (streets, neighborhoods). Also, model studies mainly address average conditions, whereas air pollution becomes a direct threat to public health under extreme weather conditions and in the case of sudden localized releases, such as accidents, natural disasters and acts of terrorism. These depend on the details of the instantaneous turbulent flow, which are not appropriately captured in current dispersion models. While mean concentrations can be predicted with reasonable accuracy for some simple cases, hazardous situations require prediction of peak concentrations. Effective measures to control air quality depend on reliable predictions of pollution concentration levels in the urban boundary layers. Air pollution levels in urban environments become increasingly problematic with rising energy consumption and urbanization. It is a rack mount module and a controller that sit's within arms reach. They're from the early 90's so are hard to come by. Tony Bank's of Genesis used a Miditemp PMM88 to control his racks and keys on the last few Genesis tours. Keyboard Rig: Korg Kronos, Moog Sub 37, Waldorf Blofeld Module, Neo Instruments Ventilator II, Moog MiniFooger Delay, Strymon BigSky, Roland KC-150, Mackie 802-VLZ4 Mixer I can't imagine that keyboard players who gig with a small army of synths would make all the program changes they'd need manually, so surely something like this exists somewhere? I could easily do this with a laptop, but I don't want to be stuck if the laptop crashes for some reason. I want to be able to use this with my live keyboard rig to be able to move through the sounds I need for a gig in the order I need them using the next and occasionally previous buttons, and have my other devices change to the right programs. The goal is this: I have the Tech21 MIDI Mouse pedal, which tracks a program number and has up and down buttons to send the next and previous program changes. Ideally the device would be rackmountable. Also sending some specific control changes is a bonus. In other words, the device has presets, and each preset specifies which program changes should be sent to which other devices. It would send out multiple program and, ideally, bank changes on specific channels based on the input program change. The device would take MIDI input and listen for program changes on a specific MIDI channel (bank changes are a bonus). If anyone knows of one, either the name of a specific product, or the type of product so I can google it (MIDI Rackmount Program Changer hasn't given me anything useful after pages of results), please let me know. I'm looking for a specific device, and I'm not sure if it exists. Posted: Thu 4:57 pm Post subject: MIDI Program Change Module - does such a thing exist?
